Prince Harry’s visa application is being urged to be made public after his ‘drug use’ admission.
The U.S. visa application of Prince Harry, who acknowledged drug use in his contentious memoir, has been decided by a judge.
In January 2023’s “Spare,” the Duke of Sussex confessed to consuming hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine, and marijuana. To determine if the Prince Harry’s drug use was disclosed, the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation filed a lawsuit requesting that the government produce data regarding his visa application, as per The Mirror.
Government “fully vetted” and procedure-following about Prince Harry’s admission to the nation was called into doubt, according to the Washington-based nonprofit, due to the “widespread and continuous” reporting of his drug use. According to the group, “generally renders such a person inadmissible for entry” according to U.S. law.
In his bombshell memoir, Prince Harry confessed that cocaine “didn’t do anything for me. Marijuana is different, that actually really did help me.”
An encounter with enchanted mushrooms is also detailed by him. “I stared at the bin. It stared back. ‘What-staring? ‘ Then it became… ahead. I stepped on the pedal and the head opened its mouth. A huge open grin,” he stated.
“It was the cleaning of the windshield, the removal of life’s filters — these layers of filters,” Prince Harry revealed in an online interview with trauma expert Gabor Maté regarding his usage of hallucinogens. It took everything away and made me feel calm, relieved, comfortable, and lighthearted—things I was able to contain for a while.
The U.S. visa application process can be slowed down if the applicant is asked about their current and prior drug use. Although immigration officials weigh a number of variables when making decisions, heavy drug use is one of them.
