Prince Harry shows he’s ‘in a good place’ after series of solo engagements

The Duke of Sussex has participated in a bumper crop of duties in recent days, having been spotted exiting a celebrity tattoo parlour after spending some time inside last week

Prince Harry has shown he is “in a good place” after undertaking a series of engagements without Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, has participated in a quick succession of duties in the US in recent days, carrying out 12 in the space of 10 days. Among them were a trip to East Side Ink, a celebrity tattoo parlour in New York City, and a surprise appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show.

He completed each duty without the Duchess of Sussex, who has typically appeared at his side during nearly every event in which he has participated since the couple moved to the US in 2020. His latest trip to Lesotho was also without the Duchess, who remained at home while he greeted Prince Seeiso, who excitedly welcomed him back during a private visit to Sentebale.

Body language expert Darren Stanton said that the two princes appeared to connect “on a deeper level”, and that Harry appeared “genuinely happy” and “in a very good place”. Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, he said: “During his visit, Harry held onto Prince Seeiso’s arm as he stood close to him. It didn’t look forced or disingenuous from either side.

This suggests Harry and the Prince have a strong rapport. It would be obvious if the Prince didn’t reciprocate those high levels of trust with Harry. Another giveaway that they felt genuinely happy in each other’s company was looking closely at their facial expressions. They were grinning from ear to ear – proving their smiles were genuine and natural.
