Meghan Markle’s friend opens up on real relations with the Duchess in rare public message
The Duchess of Sussex stunned at a recent gala event showing support for a charity close to her and her very dear friend's heart.
Meghan Markle was the lady in red at a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Gala held over the weekend.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing a recycled dress from Carolina Herrera at the glitzy event.
The California-based royal attended the event without her husband, Prince Harry.
However, she was not alone as she had her close friend of over 10 years by her side.
Kelly McKee Zajfen was seen offering support to her friend, as she took to Instagram to praise Meghan and the impactful evening both shared.
Zajfen is the co-founder of Alliance of Moms – a non-profit whose mission is to empower parenting teens and those that are pregnant in foster care.
The fundraiser took place at the LA LIVE Event Deck where boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, his wife and producer Chuck Lorre were honoured for their work supporting the hospital.
But they weren’t the only ones being praised for their work as Zajfen sang the Duchess’ praises and how the ex-Suits actress continues to inspire her.
The Instagram post read: “I was beyond grateful to share in this beautiful evening with one of my closest friends”.
