Fans will remember that before Meghan Markle was the Duchess of Sussex, she was none other than Rachel Zane on Suits, USA’s legal drama and everyone’s favorite Netflix binge. Yesterday, Markle’s former co-star, Patrick J. Adams, shared a photo dump from his time on the show and offered up a behind-the-scenes look at all the hijinks that went on at the show—including a never-before-seen snapshot of Markle in action.
Adams starred as Markle’s love interest, Mike Ross, and now hosts a re-watch podcast, “Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast.“ In the photo he shared of Markle, she wears a black V-neck top with a dainty wishbone charm necklace. Behind her, there’s a whole crew of folk hard at work making magic happen.

“Well @iamsarahgrafferty and I have petitioned to have Tuesday officially renamed Sidebar day. Turns out it’s complicated and there’s a little paperwork but I’ll keep the faith,” Adams captioned his post. “Until then, enjoy our newest @suitssidebar episode Dirty Little Secrets where we talk college pizza, clear up some misunderstanding about my towering height and tackle the mystery of why Jessica has no assistant. Speaking about Markle, Adams told People that they’re no longer in touch because of the whole royal family thing she has going on.
“We are not really in touch,” Adams said. “She leads a very different life now for obvious and important reasons.” He did add that “upon hearing about the podcast” he got “a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in any way.”
