The early 2000s saw the beginning of one of the most beloved royal romances: Prince William and Princess Kate‘s love story. The two famously met during their first year at University of St. Andrews in Scotland. A chance encounter in their residence hall, St. Salvator’s, led to a relationship for the ages. And, now, another royal family member is following in their footsteps.

Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 21, William’s youngest cousin, started studying English literature at the school in 2022. In addition to her academic engagements, she appears to have a flourishing social life, as she has caught the affection of fellow student Felix da Silva-Clamp, 20.
The two have struck up a sweet relationship, as confirmed by one of Louise’s friends to the Telegraph. Recent photos published by the outlet show the two with their arms around each other. In the adorable snap, Silva-Clamp wears a denim button-down shirt, white-and-blue striped pants, and a blue-and-red baseball cap over his short ginger hair. Meanwhile, Louise dons a dark blue polo, matching belt, and beige pants, with her strawberry-blonde locks pulled back into a ponytail.
As reported by the publication, Silva-Clamp was born in 2004 in London, to politician Jonathan Clamp and mental health professional Kendall Clamp. He grew up in Melbourne, Australia. (Sources say Louise is considering studying abroad at Australia’s Macquarie University so she can travel with her beau.) In addition to his studies, Silva-Camp has a part-time job at a local ice cream parlor. He and Louise also share a love for theater; they both appeared in their school’s student production of Dragon Fever.

It appears their romance is becoming more serious, as Silva-Clamp visited Sandringham in June to support Louise as she competed in the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials, where she won a silver medal. There, he met her parents, Prince Edward, Duke and Edinburgh, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
Despite being of royal descent (Louise is 16th in line to the throne), Louise’s peers say she has a normal university experience.
“She works a student job during the week, in the canteen, and she takes part in a lot of student theatre productions,” a fellow student said. “She’s really grounded. Whenever I see her, she’s wearing understated clothes—you literally wouldn’t know at all that she’s a member of the royal family.”
