Kate Middleton’s heartwarming message as first outing since ending chemo leaves her thrilled -VIDEO

Princess Kate has had a practice run ahead of her royal comeback

The Princess of Wales had a practice run for her royal comeback as she attended an English National Ballet matinee yesterday.

Weeks after announcing she had completed her chemotherapy for cancer, Kate enjoyed a performance of Giselle at Sadler’s Wells, North London.

And the royal was clearly thrilled, thanking the cast and venue for the “wonderfully powerful, moving and inspiring” display.

Kate this week confirmed she intends to host her charity carol event at Westminster Abbey, Together At Christmas, as part of her return to royal life.

And a royal source said: “Over the last few months, a key part of the princess’s recovery is doing things that bring her joy.

“And the arts, including ballet, is a real passion for the princess.

“Kate continues making a good recovery and is looking forward to getting back to public life and is preparing for a light schedule of engagements in the run-up to 2025.”
