Jennie Bond harshly criticizes the idea of Meghan Markle’s ‘return to the UK,’ stating that ‘she is not popular.’
A royal expert has said that Meghan Markle will not return to the UK and is not popular with people living in the country.
Meghan Markle doesn’t want to come back to the UK and “is not popular”, a royal expert has said.
Jennie Bond, a royal correspondent for the last 35 years, appeared on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive YouTube channel this week to discuss Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
During the discussion, Jennie said that Meghan is not popular in the UK and therefore wouldn’t return, even when Prince Harry does. The discussion comes after Harry was in the UK this week for the WellChild 2024 awards alone.
She told The Sun: “I think Meghan has her own independent style and way of life. Yes, it’s not in tune with the people in the UK.
“She’s not popular and I don’t think she wants to come back and therefore they are going their own ways, to an extent. But I hope and believe that Harry is very happy in his life.”
Prince Harry’s solo visit to the UK is one of a few he has done over the last three weeks since celebrating his 40th birthday last month.
The Duke started off in New York City before flying across the pond to the UK, where he is believed to have stayed for one night. He then flew directly to Africa to complete some engagements relating to his charity Sentable.
On all these visits, Prince Harry was not accompanied by his wife Meghan, 43, who is believed to be at the couple’s Montecito mansion with their two children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. She has not been seen since the day before Harry’s 40th birthday.
This has led to a whirlwind of rumours about the couple, with many believing Harry may be branching out on his own without his wife by his side.
