Prince William Sends Message to Meghan Markle With Recent Royal Appearance: ‘She’s Probably Livid’

Prince William and Meghan Markle don’t exactly have the closest relationship, and some are seeing William’s recent collaboration with a former friend of Meghan’s to be his way of sending a message to the duchess.

Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, have not had the best relationship with the royal family in recent years. Harry and Meghan were disappointed in the way Meghan was treated by the royals, and things haven’t changed much since the Sussexes left in 2020.

Harry and Meghan have also lost a few friends along the way, including British icons David and Victoria Beckham. Now, Prince William’s recent royal engagement seems to be a direct hit at the duchess’ past friendships.

While Harry and Meghan were in the royal family, they grew quite close to David and Victoria Beckham. David, a former soccer player, and Victoria, known for her role in the Spice Girls band as well as for her fashion, had a solid friendship with the Sussexes and even attended their wedding. But ultimately, the Beckhams had a falling out with Harry and Meghan, with rumors suggesting that Meghan thought they could be behind some of the leaked stories about her that were ending up in the press shortly after she and Harry wed.

Now, William seems to be getting involved with David Beckham, and some are seeing it as his way of sending a message to Meghan. The prince recently posted a photo to Instagram with David alongside some new helicopters.

“Yes, I do think that this is something that will annoy Meghan Markle,” royal expert Kinsey Schofield said of the photo of William and David, according to Express. “I just think that she’s probably livid right now, based on the reaction that she’s getting from all of these stories … That’s gotta be incredibly hard for her. And then to see this kind of victory moment from Prince William.”
