Meghan Markle has been accused of having ‘chewed up’ employees as tensions with staff continue to escalate.

The row over Meghan Markle’s treatment of staff has intensified with her now been accused of “chewing up” employees.

Since moving to the US four years ago, the pair have earned a reputation for having a high staff turnover at their Archewell organisation. Last week, allegations surfaced that Meghan “belittles people” and “doesn’t take advice” with claims it has earned her the nickname “Duchess Difficult”.

The claims were made in industry bible, the Hollywood Reporter, with its co-editor-in-chief saying they came from a very high-up source who works for the couple. Then in an unprecedented move, both current and former employees of Meghan and Prince Harry spoke to American publication US Weekly magazine, where they recounted their positive experiences of working for the Sussexes.

But now a former Palace courtier who worked for Harry and Meghan when they were working royals has also waded into the row explaining what they saw. Speaking to the Daily Beast, they explained: “There have been plenty of difficult royals over the years, and I do think that after the ill-feeling of Megxit (when Harry and Meghan left the Royal Family ), Meghan’’ bad moments were amplified and distorted and blown out of proportion

“That said, there definitely were bad, very bad, even psycho moments. I witnessed people being chewed up in person and over the phone and made to feel like s***.”

Another worker, who was employed in the run-up Harry and Meghan’s wedding also told the publication: “She is lovely when it is all going her way but a demon when the worm turns.” While a florist who carried out work for the Duchess claimed people were “often treated like a tradesman”. The Mirror has contacted Meghan’s representatives for comment.
